Unless otherwise arranged, CHECK IN is 4:00 pm (16:00 hrs) or later and CHECK OUT is 11:00 am (11:00 hrs) or earlier. Rental dates are defined as "per night", regardless of arrival time.
Terms of Rental
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. All bookings are considered "tentative" and subject to loss until the deposit and signed Rental Agreement are received by the Rentor. The balance owing is due three weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellations
Cancellations within six weeks of arrival and premature departure are liable to payment in full. The Rentor is under no obligation to issue a refund. The Rentor will attempt to re-rent the time period and, if successful, may issue a refund of the rental fee withholding a $50 administration charge.
Rental Party
The maximum number of persons allowed in the Rental party is four. The facility provides two queen beds each in a separate bedroom, and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The Tenant is responsible for the conduct of his/her guests.
Damage Deposit
A five hundred dollar ($500.00) damage deposit may be requested before arrival. This will be held in trust and will be returned in full or destroyed upon completion of a satisfactory inspection within three days of departure in the event that no additional costs, such as late departure or damages are incurred.
Smoking
We are pleased to offer a smoke free environment. Smoking in general is discouraged and permitted outside only.
Pets
Pets are welcome.
Damage
The Tenant agrees to indemnify Carlson Point Cabin and its owners and save them harmless against any and all claims, actions, damages, liability, and expense for injury to person and/or property however caused and arising out of the activities of the Tenant and or Rental Party or out of the occupation or possession of the Property by the Tenant and/or the Rental Party.
The Tenant agrees not to engage in any unlawful or unsafe practices while occupying the Property and to strictly observe and abide by all regulations and by-laws of The District of Sechelt and of the Sunshine Coast Regional District.
The Tenant agrees that all activities will be conducted so as not to endanger any person or damage any of the Property.
The Rentor shall have the right at any time to eject from the Property any person or persons who, in the Rentor's opinion, is creating a disturbance or otherwise behaving in an objectionable or improper manner or causing danger, harm, damage or public disturbance.
Cost incurred due to breach of any of the provisions herein, loss or damage caused by the Tenant or by the Rental Party, including the cost of cleaning will be deducted from the damage deposit. If the costs amount to greater than the damage deposit the Tenant shall pay the excess costs to the Rentor.
